In Stygian: Outer Gods, you will find yourself in a mysterious and dangerous world where every player action can be crucial for survival. In this guide, we will describe a detailed walkthrough of the game and explain how to find all the key items.
Prologue
Proceed forward through the cave, and once you emerge, find several glowing stones. The first one is on a pedestal in front of the player. The second can be found in a small passage to the left, if you crawl under the rubble. The third is located on an elevation to the right.
After appearing in your office, answer the phone and examine the room — there are several notes here. When you are ready, go to the bathroom and interact with the sink. Choose traits that suit you, then complete the character setup.
After doing this, a passage to the adjacent room will open. Take the map on the wall and choose a character trait:
- Heavy Strike — allows you to perform powerful melee attacks.
- Stealth Master — makes walking completely silent.
- Perfect Block — allows you to perform a perfect block if timed correctly.
- Speak with Death — allows you to speak with the dead.
- Attentiveness — highlights interactive items.
- Artifact Knowledge — allows you to use artifacts.
- Backstab — increases damage dealt from behind.
- Leverage — allows you to lift heavier items.
Return to the office and talk to the girl named Victoria who appears there. Soon, the hero will be transported to an unfamiliar area.
Rough Arrival. Find a way into Kingsport
You will find yourself in a small location with several houses. We recommend visiting the building on the right and talking to the injured man. In the same room, there is a workbench: you can now craft bandages and lockpicks. To craft the former, you need to find four pieces of cloth scattered around the area.
Also, examine the corpse on the street to get a knife. Use it to kill the mutated dog in the left part of the location, in one of the yards. Here, you can also sneak into a house and find more materials, as well as a totem (can be used if you have the necessary skill).
If you use the totem, you will see an item hidden in a chest. It is located to the right of the hut with the injured man.
You need to find enough materials to craft a bandage and a lockpick. Give the bandage to the injured guy to receive the gate key. After doing this, open the gate and proceed forward. Soon, you will meet Victoria again.
Occult Oddities. Locate the First tablet
Read the notes in the house and save the game in the mirror if necessary. Outside, you can examine the map — it will automatically be transferred to your inventory. From the gate to the mansion, climb the stairs on the left. Take some supplies here, including the Mysterious Herb, and head back. You can enter the first locked house on the right through a hole in the wall.
Use the large crate to climb onto the roof and pick up several bottles. You can use them to distract enemies.
On the roof, if you have the skill that allows you to carry heavy objects, you can move a large barrel and enter a small room. Here on the table lies another stimulator, as well as a sedative.
Distract the enemies by throwing a bottle far away, after which you can sneak past the remaining enemies. If there is one monster, go around it from behind and quickly kill it. In the center of the map, an enemy will be waiting by the cart, next to which is a Mysterious Herb.
To the right of this place is a tavern building. Look inside and gather supplies, as well as answer the phone call and read several notes. If you clear the debris at the back of the building, you will gain access to a previously locked room with supplies and a human skull on the table. The item will be useful for solving a puzzle on the second floor of this building.
The bird skull is also here, on the second floor. The last skull can be found in room №2, but it is locked. Enter room №1 and sneak through the hole in the wall.
Place them in the correct positions to open access to the secret room. Talk to the boy here and take a piece of the tablet. Also, don't forget to carefully examine the second floor and collect useful items, a recipe for the workbench, and save before continuing.
Locate the Second tablet
Go outside and enter the forge building. Gather valuable items and talk to the prisoner. You cannot currently climb to the upper floor of the building. Return to the courtyard and find the passage to the yard guarded by dogs. Eliminate the mutated animals, take the Mysterious Herb next to the corpse, and look around. In a small structure to the right, there is a heavy barrel — if you move it, you will get several handfuls of gold teeth and scrap metal.
Exit on the other side of the building and find the house with green lamps at the entrance. Here you will find a local trader: for gold teeth, you can purchase some items. We recommend stocking up on medkits if you haven't crafted enough bandages at the workbench.
Exit the trader's house and enter the door on the right. Use the crate to climb to the second floor. Here, an enemy will be waiting, along with some supplies and a note on the cabinet at the far end of the room. If you open the door to the balcony, you can find an axe.
Descend, remove the boards, and enter the yellow house. In the first room, you will find a locked safe, but first, you need to find the combination for it.
Slowly climb to the second floor, eliminate two enemies. On the window next to the second monster, you can find an emerald. Here on the second floor, you can find a medkit, gold teeth, and a passage to the neighboring building via the roof.
Remove the boards and take the second part of the tablet. Descend to the first floor — here awaits many useful items, as well as one enemy.
Locate the Third tablet
The last part of the tablet is hidden in the opposite part of the settlement. Go to the central street and run to the forge building. Right behind it, there is a boarded-up passage that you can open with the axe.
Enter the building on the left: gather all the items here, as well as find gunpowder. Repeat the actions with the building on the right. On the second floor, you will find a locked chest, so it's recommended to have lockpicks beforehand. On a small cabinet to the right of the chest, take the key that the prisoner in the forge told you about. Go down to the man and tell him you found the key, then free him.
Return to the inner courtyard of the forge. Here you will find another boarded-up passage. However, be warned that breaking them will cause several dogs to attack you.
This way, you can enter the previously inaccessible large building and climb to the second floor. In one of the rooms, a mirror will be waiting, as well as the third part of the tablet on the table. In the adjacent room, take the skill card from the hand of the hanged man. This time, the choice of skills will be much broader.
Investigate the mansion entrance
Return to the starting house, take all three parts of the tablet and place them on the gates to the mansion. Doing this will earn you the achievement “Deep Dive”.
