How to Create Windows in Hytale — Easy Tutorial

Hytale is a new sandbox game inspired by Minecraft. Early on in any game like this, it’s important to build a base where you can place your workbenches and a bed for respawning. To improve the look of your buildings, you can use different decorative elements: including windows. In this guide, we’ll explain which tools and materials you’ll need to craft them.

Currently, you can’t craft or use glass in Hytale. Instead, you can only make pre-made window blocks, and for that you’ll first need a Builder’s Workbench.

To craft this special workbench, you’ll need the following materials:

You can simply pick up logs from the ground, and you’ll get stones by breaking stone blocks. You don’t need any special tools to gather these materials. Once you’ve collected enough logs and stones, open the workbench and go to the equipment tab.

To craft windows, activate the Builder’s Workbench and place any log inside. Scroll through the list of available items until you find the window block. Select it and start crafting. One log will give you two windows.

Keep in mind, the type of wood you use will only affect how the window looks.
