New Trailer for Sonic Rumble Released
SEGA has announced that the global release of the free-to-play online game Sonic Rumble will take place in November. The game will be available on PC (Steam), Android (Google Play), and iOS (App Store).
Sonic Rumble is a battle royale featuring competitions for up to 32 players, transporting players into a toy world crafted by the evil Doctor Eggman. In terms of gameplay, the project is reminiscent of Fall Guys. It will offer a large roster of playable characters, including Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Shadow, Rouge, Amy, Silver, Blaze, Jet, Metal Sonic, Espio, Zavok, Wave, Storm, Vector, and many more, along with a variety of customization items and diverse challenges and game modes.
It's worth mentioning that in late September, the arcade racing game Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds was released on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch. The project received 95% positive reviews and an 83/100 score on OpenCritic. Previously, the game made it onto the list of the most successful new releases in September on Steam. Before that, the version of the game for Nintendo Switch 2 was delayed indefinitely.
Additionally, it's worth noting that in August, images of an canceled Sonic game, developed by the creators of Sonic Mania, surfaced online. The illustrations were released by one of the developers.
