The Sims Lives On: A Preview of the Korean Life Simulator inZOI
A new player has entered the so-called "life simulation" market — inZOI. The game launched in early access on Steam on March 28 and immediately attracted massive attention: it skyrocketed to the top of the sales charts and earned thousands of rave reviews. The developers from Korea, Krafton, shook up the industry by promising realistic graphics powered by Unreal Engine 5, deep customization, advanced AI, and three large cities with unique atmospheres. And, as it turns out, these weren’t empty promises. However, calling inZOI the "killer of The Sims" still seems premature. Why? Let's break it down in our preview.

KYC Nightmare. What Is SumSub and Why Users Say It Is Blocking Their Money on Crypto Platforms and Telegram (updated)
Not long ago, in December 2024, the monetization procedure on Telegram became more complicated. Users began to complain about issues with withdrawing funds. The reason is that a verification procedure was introduced for the Fragment platform, which is linked to the Telegram Wallet and the withdrawal of earnings from the messenger. Many claim that the process often fails for unclear reasons, and disputing verification rejections is nearly impossible.
And Telegram is just the tip of the iceberg. If verification fails on one service for some reason, problems begin on others, such as exchanges and online banks. The alleged culprit is the company SumSub. What kind of organization is this, and why is it considered the source of the problems — we'll explain in this article.

Sid Meier's Civilization 7 Review: It Could Become One of the Best in the Series, But in a Couple of Years
For fans of the series, and the industry in general, the release of a new Civilization is always an event. The iconic strategy game has never lacked attention, so when Sid Meier's Civilization 7 launched, it easily shot up to the top of Steam's bestsellers list. However, players were not happy: on the day of the early release, the game had only 39% positive reviews. What happened?
After getting to know the game, we can say that it is, dare we say it, bold. Instead of sticking to the old and proven formula, Firaxis took the previous mechanics and shook them up without mixing. The resulting cocktail is, at times, very exciting, and at others... well, let’s not get ahead of ourselves. Here’s our review of Sid Meier's Civilization 7 and it's issues.

MiSide Review: Does This Terrifyingly Cute Hit Deserve Its Explosive Popularity?
Time and again, we notice a trend: while there are few AAA releases, and many of them disappoint, niche indie games unexpectedly rise to prominence. There have been such examples before, from Undertale and Stardew Valley to Hades and Disco Elysium. In the last weeks of 2024, a similar phenomenon emerged with MiSide — an anime horror game, where a charming girl named Mita turns the protagonist's life into a nightmare.
