Sonic Rumble battle royale announced

SEGA has officially announced Sonic Rumble, a new mobile online Sonic game for Android and iOS inspired by Fall Guys. Developers will hold a beta test before the end of May.

Sonic Rumble will be a platformer battle royale set in a wacky toy world created by Eggman. Matches will support up to 32 players. Playable characters will include Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Silver, Amy, Shadow, Espio, Eggman, Rouge, Big, Metal Sonic, Cream, and more. The game will be free-to-play. A release date has not yet been announced. It is unknown when the game's gameplay will be shown.

It is worth mentioning that the series Knuckles premiered at the end of April.
