Alien: Isolation

As for me, this is the best game of 2014 and at the same time the scariest game in history. It’s very scary to play, and incredibly interesting!

The sounds are simply a NIGHTMARE in the good sense of the word, frightening until the Alien himself comes out. The developers have achieved a great atmosphere in this game, great respect to them for that. With all this, the game gives you a “sweat”, if of course you are a true gamer and play on the Difficult level.

I also really liked that the developers recently added the "Nightmare" mode. It’s definitely HELL there, there’s no map, no motion sensor, no HUD.

Joys:

* Excellent graphics.

* Atmosphere. The atmosphere of that original Alien, where there is only fear and helplessness.

* That same Alien. Black like that. And the tail is long.

* Plot. I really want to find out what happened to Ellen. And Amanda, of course.

* The sound content is excellent.

* Good localization.

* Excellent optimization.

Nasty things:

* Not for everyone. A game that forces you to be careful, hide a lot and listen closely. Which makes the passage very long. Fans of hair-raising action games with meat and lots of explosions will most likely be bored.

* There are no more nasty things.

To be honest, when I started the game I didn’t expect to get such an overdose of fear. After Doom 3, not a single game could somehow tickle my nerves. However, this masterpiece completely destroyed all the stereotypes that fear is for children! The game really shows you how you will feel in the face of fear one on one.

Sadly, it turned out that I was not as fearless as I thought. I played the game in several sittings. Each one was difficult, because I understood that I would get another surge of adrenaline into my blood. It’s not the scariest in history, but it certainly gives you the feeling that you yourself are in a similar situation.

Cons:
