The BAFTA Game Awards is one of the most prestigious events in the industry. Since 2004, it has annually celebrated outstanding achievements in video game development. The event brings together leading specialists, publishers, programmers, artists, and screenwriters from around the world. Winning or even being nominated for one of the BAFTA awards is considered recognition of the highest quality of work.

Even at the announcement stage, Atomfall looked like a low-budget clone of Fallout without any standout features, so few people followed its development. If the game hadn't been included in Xbox Game Pass on release day, only a handful would have known about it. Thanks to the subscription, more than 1.5 million people played Atomfall, making it the most successful launch for Rebellion studio in the last 30 years. We couldn't pass by this British mix of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and Fallout, deciding to personally evaluate the Sniper Elite creators' attempt to do something unconventional.

But what does the industry have in store for 2025? We decided to prepare a series of top lists of the most anticipated projects for the upcoming year. This one will be about hits for PC and Xbox. It's obvious that most new releases come out on consoles after personal computers and vice versa, so don't be surprised to find multiplatform titles on the list. However, these projects are theoretically expected to provide the most complete experience specifically on the two platforms mentioned above.
