Best Samurai Games Ever Made
In feudal Japan, there were samurai - noble warriors equipped with katanas (sometimes other weapons) and heavy armor, who stood to defend their daimyo (the feudal lords in Japan). Due to very strict and harsh concepts, a samurai was not afraid of death, and a warrior who could not fulfill his duty usually committed seppuku (ended his life by suicide).
Despite the fact that the image of the samurai is heavily romanticized in some games, such a setting has a huge number of fans. There are not many games about samurai, however, recently feudal Japan has begun to gain popularity again: proof of this is Nioh 2, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, and the upcoming Ghost of Tsushima.
Sometimes games about samurai incorporate magic and fantasy: then ancient warriors have to fight monsters from Japanese legends and fairy tales, including dragons and other creatures.
