A remake of the classic psychological horror game Fatal Frame 2: Crimson Butterfly, the story of two twin sisters is brought to life in terrifying detail. Mio and Mayu find themselves lost in an ancient village shrouded in fog and haunted by ominous ghosts whose souls yearn for redemption. Every encounter with the otherworldly world is permeated with anxiety and despair, and the only weapon against the invisible horror is an old camera capable of capturing the spirits and thus exorcising them.
The remake completely updates the 2003 original: the visuals have been reworked, the sound has become deeper and more atmospheric, and the controls are more precise and modern. The camera obscura retains its iconic significance, but now feels like a true survival tool, turning every photo into an act of resistance to fear.
