A global optimization pack for the Engine.ini file, bringing together the maximum possible number of technical tweaks for the Unreal Engine. This modification comprehensively tunes the performance of your CPU, GPU, RAM, and storage.
The main goal of the mod is to completely eliminate micro-stutters, reduce input lag, boost overall performance, and make the image sharper without any loss in graphics quality. The configuration optimizes anti-aliasing and upscaling technologies (DLSS/FSR), minimizing texture flickering and ghosting. Annoying effects such as chromatic aberration are removed, and film grain and motion blur are balanced.
Which version to choose: VRR or NO VRR?Before installation, decide which configuration file version you need:
- VRR version: Choose this if your monitor or TV supports Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) technology and it is currently active in your system. This applies to NVIDIA G-Sync or AMD FreeSync technologies. Make sure the feature is enabled both in your monitor settings and in your graphics card control panel.
- No VRR version: Choose this option if your monitor does not support G-Sync / FreeSync or the feature is disabled.
Installation instructions:
Path to the configuration folder: %localappdata%\G1R\Saved\Config\Windows.
- Launch the game at least once (if you haven’t done so already) to initialize the settings, then close it completely.
- Press Win + R on your keyboard, paste %localappdata%\G1R\Saved\Config\Windows into the field, and press Enter to instantly open the required folder.
- Choose the mod version that matches your monitor (VRR or No VRR) and copy the downloaded Engine.ini file into the opened folder, replacing the existing one.
- Right-click the copied Engine.ini file, select “Properties,” check the “Read-Only” box at the bottom of the window, and click “Apply” / “OK.” This will protect the file from being overwritten by the game.
How to uninstall the mod: If you want to restore the default game settings, simply delete the modified Engine.ini file. The next time you launch the game, it will automatically create a clean configuration file with default values.
