Adds a configurable hotkey (Default: T) to toggle the torch on/off without dropping it to the ground.
Important: Currently, the mod requires the Torch to be hotkeyed to work. By default in Gothic 1 Remake that is hotkey slot 4. If you put it into another slot, you need to configure the G1R_PutAwayTorch.ini.
Installation instructions:
- Install UE4SS first (it works with the latest UE4SS versions).
- Copy the contents of the zip into your UE4SS Mods folder, like:
...\steamapps\common\Gothic 1 Remake\G1R\Binaries\Win64\Mods
or
...\steamapps\common\Gothic 1 Remake\G1R\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\Mods - Make sure this line is enabled in mods.txt:

Configuration (Optional):
Only required if you put the Torch on any other slot than G1R's default 4. Open G1R_PutAwayTorch.ini and set TorchHotkeyNumber. It supports the following in-game torch hotkey numbers: 4 (default), 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 0.
- Example: TorchHotkeyNumber=4
Until a proper way around it is found, this Mod strictly requires the Torch item to be assigned to an actual hotkey ingame.
