The portable gaming platform from Nintendo, belonging to the 8th generation of gaming systems. The 3DS has a design similar to the DS and is capable of creating a three-dimensional image effect without the use of special glasses. It has been available in the Russian market since March 25, 2011. As of July 24, 2012, 3DS sales reached 31.09 million copies worldwide. Games for the 3DS can be purchased through the online store eShop. There, users can also download demo versions of games for the 3DS, firmware, applications, and videos for free. The best games for the 3DS and undeniable hits at the moment are The Legend of Zelda - Ocarina of Time 3D and Super Mario 3D Land.
