This mod simplifies the parry mechanic in Resident Evil Requiem by increasing the timing window for a perfect block. With the extended input window, defensive button presses are more likely to register as successful parries, reducing reaction-time demands and making melee combat more accessible. It is particularly useful in fast-paced encounters where consistent counterattacks are essential.

Requirements:

  • REFramework – mod unlocking and extended functionality.

Installation:

  • Download the ZIP archive;
  • Extract the .lua file;
  • Navigate to: Steam\steamapps\common\RESIDENT EVIL requiem BIOHAZARD requiem\reframework\autorun;
  • If the autorun folder does not exist, create it inside the reframework directory;
  • Place the .lua file into the autorun folder;
  • Launch the game — the mod will activate automatically.
