The ninth game in the main Resident Evil series. Picks up after the events of Village, returning players to the heart of the franchise - a dilapidated Raccoon City, shrouded in fear and radioactive darkness after a nuclear strike was carried out to contain the epidemic. The main character is FBI agent Grace Ashcroft, the daughter of reporter Alice Ashcroft from the Outbreak games. She must investigate a series of mysterious deaths in the old hotel where her mother died - the key to unraveling the origins of a new bioterrorism.

A great return to the old Leon game setting—it'll give everyone a nice nostalgia boost, and newcomers will also find it very interesting and understandable.
And the best part is that they didn't just "pump" Leon for cash; they added new lore through old and new characters.
Plus, two different camera angles for the two characters help immerse you in all the emotions.
Great experiments, and we need to keep it up.
Хорошее возвращение в старый сеттинг игры про Леона — всем даст хорошую ностальгию, а новичкам тоже очень интересно и понятно, что где и как.
И самое приятное, что не просто «качали» деньги с Леона, а добавили новый лор через старых и новых персонажей.
Плюс два разных вида камеры для двух персонажей помогают хорошо прочувствовать все эмоции.
Хорошие эксперименты, и надо продолжать в том же духе.
Capcom's excellent marketing campaign and the developers' confidence in success, unfortunately, stand in stark contrast to the quality of the final product. This is a short review without spoilers.
Cons:
1. The first and most important drawback is the inability to immediately select Insanity difficulty (it only unlocks after the first playthrough). The problem isn't even that, but rather how Normal (classic) difficulty is implemented. It's too easy. Playing on it doesn't present interesting challenges. It's a horror game for little kids. The game feels casual compared to the 2nd remake.
This leads to a ton of downsides: there's no point in searching for supplies, exploring locations, and leveling up if you're already comfortable with the game, and it's easy enough to play.

Минусы:
1. Первый и самый главный минус — отсутствие возможности сразу выбрать сложность Безумие (открывается только после первого прохождения). Проблема даже не в этом, а в том как реализован нормал (классический). Он слишком легкий. Игра на нем не ставит перед игроком интересных задач. Это сурхоррор для самых маленьких. Игра ощущается оказуаленной по сравнению со 2-м ремейком.
Отсюда вытекает куча минусов, нет смысла искать припасы, изучать локации и прокачиваться, если тебе и так норм, не сложно играть.
