Dystopia from the creators of Close to the Sun. The earth has become uninhabitable, and machines have taken control of the last remnants of human civilization. Now life takes place in an underground complex in which there is no place for people. The main character will have to change this, restoring hope for the future of humanity. The main character is the girl Zoe, who, together with her drone Koby, is trying to find the key to the survival of humanity by exploring the depths of a hostile underground complex.
Steel Seed is one of those games that leaves a feeling of something unfinished. It’s conservative in both mechanics and ideas, and it feels like the developers, in their pursuit of creating something good, ended up abandoning something greater. If you’re drawn to atmospheric sci-fi worlds with impressive visuals, it’s worth giving a try — just don’t expect much depth.
