The expansion allows players to build their own dynasty, develop its prestige, choose heirs, and even declare family members outcasts. Any sim can claim the crown, but the path to power will be accompanied by rivalry, scandals, and tough decisions. Among the available mechanics are sword duels, exposing competitors, vying for the favor of the nobility and the people, as well as plot twists inspired by fairy tales and fantasy.
Players can live in palaces, attend lavish balls, develop fencing skills, and participate in the political and social life of the kingdom, where the throne remains empty for now. Special attention is given to the scandal system: forbidden romances, secret children, and loud exposés will directly affect relationships, careers, the prestige of the dynasty, and even noble titles. Depending on the player's choices, sims can repent, deny accusations, or weather the storm.
