I have the base game with Island living bundle. I'm very happy with Island living because I get to live off grid on a beautiful island. However, I would have liked for them to expand upon more things in the base game. You can grow flowers But you can't decorate your surroundings because you need the flower arrangement table from a different pack. You can't create your own recipes unless you get a different pack so It's really pointless to grow a decent amount of things because there isn't a recipe that includes it and you won't get much for selling it. Also it would be nice to be able to have a stationary animal like a hamster that stays in its cage that you can interact with or at least be able to customize a fish tank. When you fish (they spoil if you leave them in your inventory) you can only put one fish into each tank and you don't have to care for them at all. It feels like really nothing changed from The Sims 3 base game except exploring different neighborhoods and collecting plants.
