The Sinking City 2

A third-person survival horror adventure set in a Lovecraftian environment, taking place in flooded Arkham in the 1920s. The city with streets covered in water traces, abandoned establishments, and ruined neighborhoods gradually turns into territory where each turn hides a supernatural threat. Exploration is done on foot and by boat, and secret passages and shortcuts allow you to return to familiar areas in search of supplies and upgrades.

The plot revolves around saving a woman whose soul was trapped in the "Dreamland" after a failed ritual, and her body was stolen by supernatural forces. The path to the source of the catastrophic flood leads through hospitals, fish markets, and dark dungeons inhabited by ancient horrors.

Limited resources, inventory management, and tense puzzles require careful approach to each encounter. Enemies include reanimated corpses called Sliders, Deep Ones, and creatures capable of distorting space. Some enemies require direct confrontation, while others demand retreat, preparation, and gear changes.

Investigation plays an important role in survival: clues, ritual traces, mysterious diaries, and other environmental details help uncover Arkham's secrets. Additional investigations are not necessary to advance the story but help find safe routes, valuable resources, and weapon upgrades.
