Send several messages to Richie, then open the group chat and tell your friends what happened:

Friends will one after another start to declare that they are ready to go into the forest for Richie, but Lily will try to dissuade them. The final decision is yours:

If you asked Thomas to go into the forest, during the conversation with Jessie, he will call you and show you the bloodied cap. If you forbade Thomas from going into the forest for Richie, Jessie will say that she saw the police with Richie's bloodied cap.

All friends will go offline, and you will be able to talk to Jake. He will offer to distract you and talk about Richie (does not affect the story), as well as to continue the investigation. The subsequent dialogue options will also not affect the story, even when the chief of police of Duskwood calls your phone. Jake will drop the call and ask not to get distracted by the police.

In the group chat, Jake will immediately be bombarded with questions. First and foremost, friends will want to know how the hacker learned about Hanna's abduction before the police. Jake will say that he is not obliged to report:

During the conversation, you simply tell your friends how you gathered clues from the first episode of the game. Send the files you found on the cloud to the group and answer your friends' questions.

Later, Lily will write to you. The girl will ask for help in writing a letter to a prisoner she wanted to contact Hannah. We tried to compose several variations of letters for the prisoner, but it did not affect the plot. You can choose the following options:

Return to the group chat and continue discussing the clues. When you get to Hannah's phone billing, Jake will drop a photo of the murder scene of Amy in the chat. The girl's body was found next to Jennifer Hanson's memorial plaque.

After some time, Jake will contact you. He will give you a link to a local forum where the deceased Amy made a post right before her death. First, ask Jake to change the password for the forum access (you need to choose the password yourself), then open the forum and find the post titled Looking for information: the faceless person.

Read the post completely and inform Jake about it. He will ask you to lure a user with the nickname Darkness into a conversation. Send the following messages to the forum:

A user under the nickname Darkness will reply and send a message with his phone number. Open the dial pad tab and enter 28749. Talk to this user and find out why Amy was interested in the faceless person. At the end of the conversation, the guy will send you Amy's contact. The received phone number matches the last dialed number from Hannah's phone billing.

Later, Phil will call you and ask to get him out of jail. He will only mention one name — Michael Hanson. This man was the previous owner of the Aurora bar and, by coincidence, the father of the deceased Jennifer Hanson. Listen to the audio recording of Michael Hanson's interrogation, then go to the group chat and tell your friends about it. Jessie and Thomas will go to Mr. Hanson's house, but they will meet a maniac there. This episode ends there.
