A.I.L.A is a unique project that intertwines the settings of many popular horror franchises. Players will take on the role of a tester for an advanced artificial intelligence. The program analyzes the user and, in real time, creates a detailed story tailored to their preferences. In this guide, we will describe the story walkthrough in detail. In addition, we will provide solutions to all puzzles and show where to find all collectible items.

Prologue

The protagonist wakes up with his leg chained to the ceiling. After several attempts, he manages to reach the bracelet. The game features a QTE system, so you will use it quite often, for example, in this situation.

As a result, the protagonist finds himself on the floor. Now, approach the toilet and pick up the piece of metal. Move to the door, press the Interact button. The character's inventory will appear at the bottom of the screen. Select the lockpick, a context menu will open, then click Use.

You will enter a corridor. Turn right and go into the second door on the right. Go around the shelves and break the boards at the bottom. Move forward until you encounter a monster. Keep in mind that it kills the protagonist with one hit. Run from the enemy, climb the ladder, and pull yourself up onto the ledge.

Enter the sewers and move to the next door. On the way, he will step on glass and have to pull it out of his leg. Soon you will also encounter a monster that will knock the protagonist down. Turn around and run forward, then crawl into the pipe to get outside.

Apartment: Beginning

Now the events unfold in reality, where you play as a software tester. Leave the room and, passing through the main hall, enter the first floor balcony.

Receive the food box from the drone courier and return to the room. Go to the kitchen, approach the fridge, and put it on the shelf. Now you need to get rid of expired food. Take the faded gray box, turn around, and go around the kitchen island on the left side, where you will see a trash bin.

Next, you will have the task to feed the cat. Go to the sink, open the door, take the cat food from the shelf, and pour it into the bowl. Then the protagonist will order the smart home to pour some tea. The tea machine can be found on the table to the left of the trash bin.

Examine the tea machine, then pick up the box. Go up to the second floor. Approach the door to the balcony and put it next to the others. Then a cutscene will start in which a drone brings a package from Sy Tekk. In fact, you don't have to perform all these actions, you just need to wait for the courier to arrive, but we recommend feeding the cat anyway.

Go down to the drone and take the box with the A.I.L.A devkit (Artificial Intelligence for Ludic Applications). Return to the office and place the box on the coffee table near the sofa. Read the instructions and take the white console out of the case, then put it on the stand to the left of the armchair.

Press the power button on the console, but this will cause the lights to go out in the apartment. Take the flashlight from the wall, go to the balcony, and find the electrical panel around the corner, where you need to turn the breaker on. From this point, it's a good idea to take your time and explore the apartment. After the dialogue, the AI immerses the protagonist in a game where he finds himself crucified on a cross. Free yourself and approach the table on the right. Open the right drawer, then open the box and take out the remote. To escape the trap, you need to solve a puzzle. This level has four states that are switched using the remote with the CRT television.

  1. First level: Starting level.
  2. Second level: Graffiti-covered walls. To the left of the door is a fingerprint scanner.
  3. Third level: At the end of the corridor is a room with a refrigerator.

First, switch to the third level, go to the refrigerator, and take out the pruning shears. Also note that there is a red drainpipe behind it. Return to the television and switch to the fourth level. In the corridor, there is a cage with a gun, and now you will face your first choice. The game features a karma system that affects the story's ending. To get the good ending, refuse the weapon and keep moving.

Unscrew the red valve from the door and return to the room with the TV. Switch to the third level and enter the corridor, where you will meet a monster. Do not run; the monster will hit the protagonist with an axe—this is supposed to happen as part of the story.

Attach the valve to the pipe behind the refrigerator and go back to the start of the level. This time, the passage will be complicated by many doors instead of a corridor. This way, you will find yourself back in the room with the freezer; this time, go through the passage toward the beginning of the location.

Return to the fourth level and enter the room with the corpses. Approach the second body on the right (Paula Meyri) and use the pruning shears to cut off a finger. Head to the start, but the monster will block the passage, so enter the door on the right and go through the U-shaped maze, approach the television, and switch to the second level.

Approach the computer desk and pick up the flash drive. This will end the session. After reading the newspaper, pick up the remote from the sofa and turn on the TV. Open the passage using Samuel's finger and enter the corridor. Touch all the door handles and return to the start. Now turn around and move forward.

Read the newspaper on the fridge, then switch the level. Enter the corridor with blue walls and turn on the TV again. Enter the starting room and pick up the key to room 12 from the table. Now go to the next passage and teleport to the fourth location.

Enter the room, pick up the note and the Shining figurine. Walk down the corridor, take the duct tape and mannequin head from the fridge. Now switch to the third level with blue walls, go to meet the monster and take the axe, then enter room 12.

Behind the door is a morgue where you need to solve a puzzle. In the middle of the room lies a corpse. Pick up the pliers from the table on the right and approach the body. Four keys are sticking out of the upper gum of the deceased. Pull out the third one, its base is painted red.

Move to the next level. Approach the fridge and use the red key to take the battery. Teleport to the fourth location and insert it into the device in the center of the room. Use the device, pick up the severed finger and combine it with the duct tape, then stick it to the fingerprint scanner. Then proceed to the other end of the corridor, turn toward the TV, and use the remote.

As a result, you will find yourself in a room with a mannequin. Attach the head to it, turn around, and step back to any wall. Then a table with a hand will appear. In this way, you need to assemble the whole figure. Next, just walk from one end of the room to the other until a statue with an eye in its hand appears at the door. Use it to open the blue door and talk to the AI. This will end the second session, and the protagonist will remove the helmet.

Apartment. Part 2

Enter the living room and wait for the drone. Take the box, go upstairs to the second floor, and place it next to the others. Interact with the glass of wine poured by the robot, then go down to the kitchen for tea. Return to the computer, send an email, and go to bed. To get to the bedroom, leave the office and enter the room on the left.

A.I.L.A. has integrated into the smart home system, so she will offer the protagonist a cup of tea. Agree so as not to offend your new companion. Go to the kitchen and take the mug from the tea machine, then feed the cat. Wait for the courier and take the set of parts to assemble the robot control system.

Place the case on the dining table and put all the items lying on it into your inventory. Open the device with the screwdriver and arrange the parts as shown in the screenshot below.

Return to the bedroom and install the system on the wall opposite the bathroom, then insert the robot control processor. The device will refuse to work, but the AI will offer her help and order the missing components. Go to the computer, read the email, and start a new session.

This time, Samuel finds himself as a tired driver behind the wheel of a muscle car, stopping at a gas station to get some coffee. Enter the diner and talk to the cashier. Leave the establishment, watch the meteorite fall, and return to the car.

Examine the scene, then get in the car. The protagonist will pick up a pregnant left-handed woman on the roadside, after which an accident will occur, and he will find himself by a campfire in a shack with the cashier from the diner. Now move along the highway until you see the glow of police lights.

Turn left off the asphalt road and head to the playground, then go through the cornfield. At the end, the protagonist picks up a pistol without bullets and is attacked by a pack of small monsters. They can kill in three hits, but the monsters are quite stupid and slow. Therefore, escaping them unharmed will be quite easy.

Escape from the pack through the metal gates. From this point, you will have to fight these little monsters. Take a box of ammo from the car seat, then go up to the porch and pick up the axe and a first aid kit shaped like a flask of alcohol. Now go around the house on the right side, but keep in mind that a monster is waiting around the corner on the left.

Creatures will regularly cross your path. So don't rush and always keep an eye on your surroundings. Move straight ahead until you reach a gate closed with a chain. To remove it, you need to find bolt cutters. Turn left and go through the van to the house's porch. Just note that a monster is waiting in the car.

Go to the first window and try to open it, then enter the house. Pick up the key with a red keychain from the nightstand in the hallway, then enter the bathroom and collect a page from the book "The Crimson Carriage" from the trash bin. Now find the jack on the second shelf in the storage room.

Go up to the second floor and use the key to open the red door. Pick up the note from the doctor and approach the wardrobe. Open the middle drawer and take the handle to combine it with the jack. Go down to the porch and use the jack to open the window.

Take the combination lock key and the note with the code from the table. Remember the combination: left (27), right (15), left (8). Go down to the basement and use it to open the green door, enter the basement, and pick up the bolt cutters from the body. Enter the code as follows:

Leave the house, but keep in mind that there will be enemies along the way. Two behind the shelf on the right, then one at the basement exit and on the stairs to the second floor, and another one in the white van. You can go into the yard on the right to pick up the second page of "The Crimson Carriage". Next, use the bolt cutters to cut the chain on the gate, remove the axe from the door, and enter the barn.

Climb up to the next floor and approach the lamp. The protagonist will fall, and many monsters will appear. Fight off the creatures by shooting the red moonshine barrels. Then the pregnant woman from the roadside will turn into a huge monster. From this moment, you need to run straight ahead. Do not try to fight the small creatures—you will only waste time and ammo. Move forward until the guy from the diner opens the door to the house.

Enter the room with the pool table, then go to the living room, pick up the key with a wheel keychain from the box, and take the shotgun from the fireplace. Kill all the monsters and go down to the garage. Get in the car and take the key with a doll keychain from the glove compartment.

Go up to the second floor, go through the room with the red door to the terrace, and kill two monsters. Break the chain on the door to get to another part of the second floor. Leave the bedroom, turn left, and enter the children's room on the right. Pick up the Baby figurine and the combination lock key. Also, pay attention to the puzzle that requires you to find blocks.

Now go down to the basement and open the next door with the combination lock, following this algorithm.

Pick up the lug wrench and then open the white case. Take the jack handle, which you can use to open green lockers containing tiles for the puzzle on the second floor. Note that from this point, you will be pursued by a monster. Fighting it is useless—a shotgun blast can only stop it for a short time. So take advantage of the creature's slowness and hide in the lockers.

Now go to the living room where you found the shotgun and take the next tile from the green box. Go upstairs to the bedrooms, enter the corridor, turn right, then go to the last door on the left and hide in the wardrobe. Wait for the creature to leave, take the last block, and hide again. Return to the room with the puzzle. Now you need to solve the puzzle by arranging the wooden pieces as shown in the image below to get the key with a pentagram keychain.

Return to the corridor, turn right, find the door with a pentagram on the left, and go up to the attic. Pick up the Reborn figurine near the bed, then take the note and rod from the shelf. A cutscene will play where the protagonist shoots the monster with a flare gun. Take advantage of the situation and, while the creature is stunned, run to the garage.

Tighten the wheel with the lug wrench and lower the ladder using the rod. Climb up to the room above the garage. On the wooden stand there is a box with two wheel combination locks, and next to it is a note with a hint: 271 793. In the room, there are nine numbered paintings with symbols. Accordingly, you need to turn the dials as follows.

  • Left lock: Mustache, Inverted Florentine rose, Shield.
  • Right lock: Inverted Florentine rose, Shell, Square snowflake.

Take the cross garage key from the box. Go down and use it to open the gate, then get in the car. The escape attempt will fail. Now follow the path forward. Behind the second shed on the right, a monster is hiding, and there you will also find the last page of "The Crimson Carriage". Head to the pier and be sure to collect all the ammo. Exit the annex, go around the boat on the right side, and pick up the Mama Monster figurine.

Prepare for a tough fight consisting of two phases. The protagonist's task is to weaken the boss with headshots from the pistol or shotgun, and then shoot with the flare gun. But be aware that the fire can spread to the character and injure him, so do not get too close during the shot. To make it easier, we suggest following this algorithm.

  1. Shoot the head with the pistol.
  2. When the creature kneels, move away and shoot with the flare gun. If necessary, drink medicine before the shot.
  3. After three shots, the monster will leave the arena.
  4. Reload all your weapons.
  5. Shoot the small monsters point-blank with the shotgun and don't let them gather into a pack. Kill them as soon as they appear.
  6. After the last mob dies, the boss will land in the center of the arena.
  7. The creature will die when you make the final shot with the flare gun.

In the final dialogue with the monster, decide whether to spare her "child." Then talk to the AI to complete the session. Choose your answers according to the karma you are aiming for.
