Best Western Games Ever Made
Westerns are games whose plots tell stories set in the Wild West: they include tales of cowboys and Indians, gun duels, journeys across barren prairies, and bounty hunting.
Since "western" is a setting, it has encompassed games of almost all genres, including RPGs, shooters, action games, and strategies. All of them narrate adventures either from the perspective of law-abiding gunslingers or from the perspective of bandits who earn money by robbing stores and trains.
Games in such a setting are easily recognizable by their locations (usually prairies with few plants and sunny weather), and almost all main characters in westerns are typically dressed in a hat, carry a revolver, and are quite skilled at riding horses.
