Hunt: Showdown 1896

A very good and atmospheric online shooter in the setting of an alternative wild west with monsters, magic and everything that comes with it.

The unusual concept is novel, and live players as opposing teams add dynamics and drive, forcing you to take the threat of being shot rather than eaten seriously.

In addition to the gameplay, it is worth mentioning a very good picture, which additionally plays to the benefit of the project.

Inexplicable incompetence of the new management! Previously the best and original shooter that was destroyed by the management led by David Fifield. Useless mandatory requirements of Avx2, Memory leak, Cheaters, Lack of weather variety and even the old map, Reconnect, Hitbox Unregistration, General optimization and much more. It’s a shame about this project.

When switching to a new engine, the FPS dropped, a lot of bugs appeared, crashes, and the graphics were soapy.

One of the best games I have played, the atmosphere of which will not leave you indifferent. Despite the bugs in the updates, the game is developing and changing towards attracting new players, becoming a little less hardcore, which seems right to me.

The game, in principle, is quite interesting, good graphics, thanks to the CryTek engine, although the lack of single player gives a minus to the overall rating, as well as obvious problems with optimization, but, as far as I know, the developers are solving these problems.

Overall: Quite a good toy, great for spending time with friends on the weekend.
