Fantasy / Medieval
Fantasy and medieval setting games are similar to each other, as the imagined fantastical era is based on a real one. The difference is the presence of magic in the fantasy world, as well as fictional animals and races. Otherwise, the settings are similar: a high level of banditry and lawlessness, traveling long distances on foot or horseback, frequent battles using shields, swords, bows, crossbows, daggers, and other weapons from the medieval times. Sometimes, elements of steampunk, teslapunk, and other alternatives of history are added to the genre.
