Role-playing game
This genre originated from tabletop role-playing games. The user controls a hero or a group that must interact with non-player characters and fight against enemies. They all have various parameters, numerical characteristics, and specific abilities. The gameplay of role-playing games can be turn-based or in real-time. Role-playing games are divided into two types: some are focused solely on combat and provide the player with a wide range of combat skills and weaponry, while others offer greater freedom and allow players to complete certain quests without engaging in battle, using skills such as persuasion, stealth, etc. The second type of role-playing games features a deep world, an interesting storyline, and a large number of side quests.
