Turn-based
The type of games in which all actions, or actions during battles, occur turn by turn are called turn-based. In turn-based strategies, the entire gameplay is usually divided into turns, while in role-playing games, only the combat component is turn-based. A turn may not be time-restricted or may be set within strict time limits. In both cases, players have time to calmly compare all possible options and make the best move. The outcome in turn-based games depends even more on the correct actions than on the parameters of the army or character.
