Tired of swinging your pickaxe seven times just to clear a single ore vein? Instant Mining streamlines the gathering process in the Gothic 1 Remake. With this mod, the very first successful strike will extract all remaining resources from a vein instantly, allowing you to move on to your next adventure without the tedious wait.
Main Features:
- One-Hit Extraction: The first time you receive ore from a vein, the mod automatically transfers the entire remaining contents of that vein straight into your inventory.
- Dynamic Compatibility: Works flawlessly with any vein size and type. Whether a vein has 15, 10, or 5 ore left, it correctly calculates the difference so you always get exactly what’s inside.
- Seamless Integration: It simply speeds up the process of completely clearing out a resource vein.
- Mining Gambler Mode (Toggleable): Instead of just giving you the boring base ore amount, the mod can roll a randomized reward whenever you mine a vein. You can toggle this on or off in the main.lua file:
ENABLE_MINING_GAMBLER = true/false
(When off, it drops the vanilla base amounts). - Fully Configurable: Easily adjust the minimum and maximum drops for both normal veins and ore walls right at the top of the file via MIN_NORMAL_ORE, MAX_WALL_ORE, etc.
Installation instructions:
- Install the latest experimental release of RE-UE4SS into:
...\Gothic Remake\Gothic\Binaries\Win64\ - Extract the archive and copy the InstantMining folder into:
...\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\Mods\ - Ensure the mod is active (check that enabled.txt exists in your mod folder).
- If for some reason the mod does not load on its own, open your mods.txt file and add this line manually:
InstantMining : 1.
