Hardcore action RPG inspired by the Dark Souls series. The game takes place in ancient China during the Ming Dynasty. The empire is torn apart by civil strife, and a mysterious disease gives birth to nightmarish monsters. The main character is Wuchang, a seasoned pirate and the storm of the seas, who has lost her memory. She faces the ghosts of her past and tries to survive after contracting a terrible disease — ornitropia.
As you progress, the heroine explores the depths of Shu, collects an arsenal of weapons and learns new skills while defeating enemies. She perfects her fighting style by sacrificing the mysterious Red Mercury. In the game, you can enhance your weapons with powerful enchantments to develop your own unique fighting style.
Nice soulslike with quality mechanics and minor flaws. Wuchang is guaranteed to please fans of the genre. However, there is nothing radically new in the game, only familiar elements in the setting of Medieval China.
