Oblivion Remastered Performance Tested After Patch 1.1

YouTuber S2Games Bench has tested the performance of The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered following the recent Patch 1.1. While some improvements have been made, the game is still far from perfect.
The remaster was tested on two PC configurations — one featuring an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 FE paired with an AMD Ryzen 5600X, and the other equipped with a GeForce RTX 5060 Ti and AMD Ryzen 7600. The game was run at 1440p resolution with Ultra, High, and Low graphics settings, both with DLSS 4 enabled and disabled.
The verdict: Patch 1.1 delivers a slight FPS boost, but performance drops persist in open-world areas, with frame rates dipping from 70 to 56 FPS.
The recent update also addressed numerous bugs throughout the game world, resulting in improved stability. In addition, the legendary "Skyrim Grandma" has recently joined the remaster.
