If you are interested in any potion, but its recipe has not yet been found in the open world, this guide will become your indispensable assistant. In the game, it is not necessary to have a recipe, the main thing is to prepare the concoction correctly, following certain steps.
Cockerel
This is not a very complex potion, but extremely useful. It increases energy by 20, which, in turn, will allow you to stay awake longer. If Henry is tired, you will constantly see the animation of drooping eyes and yawning, which is very distracting and annoying. "Cockerel" will help delay the moment.
Ingredients: alcohol, valerian (1), mint (2).
The recipe for "Cockerel" can be found on the second map, so for a long time, you will only be able to buy it ready-made.
Quickfinger
This is a useful decoction that will increase the skills of mastery and thievery by 2 for 20 minutes. It's good to drink it before a theft or forging weapons. The decoction will also help if you plan to pick a particularly difficult lock. "Quickfinger" are perfect for players who want quick results.
Ingredients: water, eyebright (2), valerian (2), cobweb (1).
The recipe can be found in Samin or the gypsy camp.
Embrocation
One of the best decoctions for archers. For 10 minutes, you increase agility by 4, and running will consume 10% less stamina. Moreover, the potion will help you move faster on foot and escape from battles where Henry cannot win.
Ingredients: oil, eyebright (1), poppy (1), valerian (1), boar tusk (1).
Can be bought in the gypsy camp.
Buck's Blood
The potion will increase stamina by 25% for 20 minutes and also speed up its recovery. Stamina is the second most important indicator. If it falls in battle, you will lose very soon. Therefore, it is especially important to maintain stamina at a high level.
Ingredients: oil, St. John's wort (1), dandelion (1), comfrey (1).
Alas, the recipe can only be found on the second map, meaning the decoction is unavailable in the early stages. However, if you know the preparation algorithm, you can make it at any time.
Artemisia
The artemisia decoction increases strength by 4 for 10 minutes, and attacks with defense consume 25% less stamina. This is the main potion for fighting multiple opponents, as it directly affects the damage dealt.
Ingredients: alcohol, wormwood (2), sage (1).
Nighthawk
The main decoction for thieves, as it improves Henry's vision in the dark without using a torch. Moreover, energy will not be depleted at all.
Ingredients: water, eyebright (2), belladonna (1), chamomile (1).
The recipe can be bought from the gypsies.
Aqua Vitalis
For a while, Henry starts losing much less health, and bleeding slows down. Combined with the artemisia decoction, this potion will make you almost invulnerable.
Ingredients: water, dandelion (2), marigold (1).
Painkiller brew
Weakens the effect of injuries and also reduces the decrease in maximum stamina when losing health. The difficulty of battles in the game lies in the fact that you not only lose health but also receive injuries that lower the overall stamina level, which is critically important in long battles with multiple opponents.
Ingredients: alcohol, poppy (3), comfrey (1), marigold (1).
The recipe can be found in the gypsy camp or from apothecaries.
Marigold Decoction
Perhaps there is no better way to restore Henry's health after a fight. The decoction gradually restores health and also weakens the effect of a hangover.
Ingredients: water, nettle (1), marigold (2).
The recipe can be found from the apothecary in Troskovice.
Saviour Schnapps
If you are playing without cheats, Saviour Schnapps was and remains the main decoction. If the quality is good, you will not only be able to save the game through it but also temporarily increase your characteristics and restore health.
Ingredients: wine, nettle (1), belladonna (2).
If you want to not worry about the possible negative consequences of your choices, we recommend buying Saviour Schnapps whenever you can. Despite the simplicity of the ingredients, it will help you many times.
