In Blue Prince, each game day has a step limit to reach the final 46th room. However, even with a limited supply of steps, you can increase their number by choosing the right rooms and finding important items. In this guide, we will share tips on how to increase the number of available actions in the game.

In Blue Prince, one of the most effective ways to increase the number of steps is by unlocking bedrooms and trading rooms. Different bedrooms interact with each other, enhancing the overall effect and providing additional steps. Meanwhile, trading rooms, such as the Kitchen, offer the opportunity to purchase food in exchange for coins, which also contributes to your progress in the game. However, these are not all the methods — we have detailed each of them in the following sections of the guide.

First and foremost in Blue Prince, you should unlock access to the fruit garden to permanently increase the number of available steps. The garden is located near the main character's camp, but a four-digit code is required to open the gates. We recommend doing this at the very beginning, as the code remains unchanged for all playthroughs and on any day. If you don't want to solve the code puzzle yourself, simply enter it using the spoiler below. This will allow you to start each day with 20 additional steps.

Building bedrooms will provide you with a decent bonus to your steps. Here are a few examples:

Although the Boudoir itself does not provide any obvious advantages, Her Grace's Chambers ensure that on your next visit, you will receive an additional ten steps. Moreover, once you complete the design and enter the Dressing Room, you will be pleasantly rewarded with precious gems.

Ordinary wardrobes often contain a variety of useful items. One of these may be running shoes, which allow you to save steps when moving around the estate and the surrounding area.

As you explore rooms in Blue Prince, you will come across various items that add steps to the main character. In the dining room, you can often find fruits: apples, oranges, or bananas. Picking up these items will add a few steps. You also have the option to build a kitchen and purchase food with coins. However, it's worth noting that food can appear randomly in different rooms, just like stones, keys, and even coins.

As you progress in Blue Prince, you will be able to effectively use various rooms to gain bonuses. For example, in the Dining Room, you can replenish food supplies, and the Sauna allows you to start a new day with 20 additional steps.

In the Dining Room, players receive 20 base steps, plus an additional 10 if you have the room activated as indicated in the main dish bonus. This bonus refreshes each time you use the Dining Room.

A little later, you will come across an interesting structure — the laboratory, where you can conduct various experiments. Attentive players will discover a unique effect that allows for 40 more steps if a certain condition is met on the same day. For example, you will need to find a specific item.
