ReStory: Chill Electronics Repairs All Endings Guide
In ReStory: Chill Electronics Repairs, dialogue choices affect the characters' fates, unlock additional events and achievements, and the main choice near the end determines the outcome of the whole story. Full endings can easily be confused with the conclusions of personal storylines, so in this guide, we will break down all endings and the most important story decisions.
Please note: this text contains major story spoilers.
How Many Endings Are There in ReStory: Chill Electronics Repairs
The game has two main endings:
- "Rock Forever!" — the conditionally good ending.
- "Globalization" — the conditionally bad ending.
Both are chosen almost at the very end of the walkthrough and determine the future fate of the district. In addition to them, there are four important character arcs that unlock separate achievements when completed: "Origami", "Melancholy", "Ronin", and "Ghost in the Shell".
These are sometimes also called endings, but it is more accurate to consider them conclusions to separate storylines. They do not replace the main finale and unlock much earlier.
How to Get the "Rock Forever!" Ending
The main choice appears after Yamato reports that the concert has been canceled. Soon after, Hashimoto will come to the main character and suggest deciding what to do next with the repair shop and the district.
To get the good ending, "Rock Forever!", choose the first option: sell the repair shop and donate the proceeds to hold the concert in order to stop the construction of the megamall. Despite losing the business, this is the decision that leads to the good ending.
After that, the hero will hand over the keys to the repair shop, and the in-game day will end. The next morning, it turns out that thanks to you, the concert still happened, and the construction of the shopping center was stopped. Moreover, your acquaintances will buy the repair shop back and help return everything to its place.
Then a series of conversations with the characters will follow, during which you will learn what happened to them later. After that, the game will tell you that you helped Akiba preserve its old atmosphere and became a local legend. The walkthrough will end, but you will be able to keep running the repair shop in sandbox mode and finish any remaining achievements.
How to Get the "Globalization" Ending
The second ending is chosen in the same scene with Hashimoto. To get "Globalization", refuse to sell the repair shop to save the concert and agree to the construction of the megamall. The game will ask you to confirm the decision: choose the option saying that megamalls are the future, then refuse to sell the repair shop again.
This gives you the bad ending and the "Globalization" achievement. The concert will not happen, construction of the shopping center will continue, and the hero will not become Akiba's savior. Instead, he will receive a rental contract for display unit No. 02 in the megamall, while the weekly rent will rise to 5000 yen. This ending is mainly worth seeing for the corresponding achievement.
How to See Both Endings
If you want to see both endings without replaying the whole game, make a backup copy of your save before the events with Yamato and Hashimoto.
First, choose one option and watch the ending. Then restore the save and choose the opposite answer. It is best to make the backup directly before the conversation with Hashimoto after the news that the concert has been canceled.
The same trick will also be useful earlier, especially before inviting characters to your home: some events tied to them can conflict with each other.
How to Get the "Origami" Achievement
The "Origami" achievement is tied to Yui and the repair of her Eggotchi.
First, agree to help the girl and fully repair the device. Later, it turns out that she could not pay for the work, after which the courier will offer to compensate you for the repair cost.
Refuse the money and choose the option saying that repairs are free for children. This is the key moment of the branch: if you accept the compensation, the required outcome will not unlock.
After some time, the courier will appear in the repair shop again and give you an origami figure from Yui. At this moment, the "Origami" achievement will unlock.
How to Get the "Melancholy" Achievement
The "Melancholy" achievement is tied to Haruhi's storyline. When the opportunity appears, offer Haruhi a place to stay, then continue completing the repairs and story events connected to her.
To complete the branch, also finish the repair for the tourist, and after Haruhi's final order, be sure to talk to her again.
At the end of this branch, it turns out that the main character is partly connected to the disappearance of the repair shop's previous owner. After that, Haruhi leaves, and the player receives the "Melancholy" achievement.
How to Get the "Ronin" Achievement
The "Ronin" achievement is tied to Kazuo's storyline. Progress through his tasks and, when the corresponding opportunity appears, let him stay at your place.
After that, continue the walkthrough until Kazuo accidentally finds the watch and asks you to fix it. Complete the repair connected to it. Once the event is finished, the "Ronin" achievement will unlock.
How to Get the "Ghost in the Shell" Achievement

The "Ghost in the Shell" achievement is tied to Baketsu's storyline. Progress through his tasks and, when the corresponding opportunity appears, let him stay at your place.
After that, continue the walkthrough until Baketsu finds the watch and asks you to fix it. Complete the repair connected to it. Once the event is finished, the "Ghost in the Shell" achievement will unlock.
Which Story Choices Are Especially Important Not to Miss
Not every dialogue window in ReStory changes the ending. Many lines only affect individual scenes, relationships with characters, or later conversations. However, offers to help a character, let them stay with you, refuse money, or fulfill an unusual request are often important for the story.
Because of that, you should not automatically choose the first line. If the game offers an unusual decision, read the options carefully and, if necessary, make a backup save in advance.
If you want to see as much story content as possible and get all related achievements, pay attention to several key decisions:
- Yui — repair Eggotchi for free and later refuse payment. This is required for the "Origami" achievement.
- Haruhi — offer her a place to stay, say that you do not trust the courier, complete the required repairs, and talk to her after the final task. This unlocks "Melancholy".
- Kazuo — let him stay at your place and wait for the event with the watch to get "Ronin".
- Baketsu — invite him to your place and complete the alternative version of the watch event for "Ghost in the Shell".
- Before the Kazuo and Baketsu branches, make a backup save: only one of the characters can find the watch first.
- Before the final conversation with Hashimoto, also make a backup save. Selling the repair shop leads to "Rock Forever!", while refusing and agreeing to the construction of the megamall leads to "Globalization".
How to Get All Story Achievements in One Playthrough
The optimal route is simple. In Yui's branch, refuse the money, and in Haruhi's story, agree to the key requests and take the chain to the final conversation.
Before choosing between Kazuo and Baketsu, make a backup save. First, invite one character, wait for the watch scene, and get the corresponding achievement. Then restore the backup and repeat the sequence with the second character.
Finally, closer to the ending, make another backup save before the conversation with Hashimoto. Choose the option to sell the repair shop for the sake of "Rock Forever!", then after watching the ending, restore the save and agree to the construction of the shopping center for "Globalization".
This way, you can see almost all important story content without having to complete ReStory several times from the beginning.
