The first month of autumn has come to an end. Many cosplayers are already getting ready for Halloween and other holidays, but they haven't forgotten about current trends either. As a result, we got to see Juliet from the yet-to-be-released Lollipop Chainsaw 2 Back2Back and Jae Heydari from Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader. Still, some prefer the classics and turn to heroines of the distant past. A prime example is Alice from the early Resident Evil movies. All of these looks stand out for their flawless attention to detail in the costumes, accessories, and wigs, as well as the models' acting. We've gathered the most interesting works of September in this article.
Alice from Paul W. S. Anderson's Resident Evil Movies by Lada Lyumos
On September 18, Resident Evil hit theaters — a new film by Zach Cregger, the director of Barbarian and Weapons. Amid the debate around the new adaptation of the cult horror series, fans sometimes look back at the movies made by Paul W. S. Anderson. Although they featured Raccoon City and the Umbrella Corporation, the story went its own way, and we saw a zombie apocalypse on a planetary scale. Lada Lyumos brought Alice, the protagonist of that story, to life. In the movies, she was played by Milla Jovovich.

Juliet Starling from Lollipop Chainsaw 2 Back2Back by PeachMilky
The second Lollipop Chainsaw was officially announced at Tokyo Game Show 2026. It takes place in Jaredwood, a sprawling metropolis where zombie movies are made. The protagonist, Juliet, falls into the trap of a mysterious director and has to fight her way out. The sequel is already getting mixed reactions from fans. Some are happy that their favorite game is getting a follow-up, while others are upset that Goichi Suda — one of the original's creators, known for his wild ideas — isn't on the development team. The Juliet Starling cosplay was made by PeachMilky. As a reminder, her figure served as the basis for Ashley Graham's model in the Resident Evil 4 remake.

Aela the Huntress from The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim by Zefirka Natsuki
Although Fallout 5 has already been announced, don't expect it anytime soon. Right now, Bethesda is busy with the sixth installment of The Elder Scrolls series. Xbox head Asha Sharma has said she has already seen a working build of the game. However, no one has named an exact release date yet. And it's still unclear whether it will turn out better than Skyrim, which has stayed relevant for 15 years, especially among modders. The Aela the Huntress cosplay was made by Zefirka Natsuki. Bayonetta from the First Game in the Series by Candyball
The Bayonetta series was led by Hideki Kamiya, the creator of the original Devil May Cry. Since he left Platinum Games, there has been no word on new adventures for the black-haired witch. There were rumors of a trilogy remaster for Switch 2, but they haven't been confirmed yet. The Bayonetta cosplay was made by Candyball.

Cissia from Zenless Zone Zero by Sai Westwood
Zenless Zone Zero remains HoYoverse's weakest project in recent years. Journalists wrote about the game's problems back at launch. A lot of time has passed since then, but the situation hasn't changed — ZZZ brings in far less money than Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail. The developers sometimes use it for experiments, such as adding spicier heroines and dating sim elements. Sai Westwood brought Cissia to life.

Jae Heydari from Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader by Valery Himera
In recent years, there have been almost too many games set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe. One of the best turned out to be Rogue Trader by Owlcat, the studio known for the Pathfinder duology. It's an RPG with tactical combat in the vein of XCOM. A direct sequel hasn't been announced yet, but work is underway on Dark Heresy, which is similar in spirit. In it, we'll play as an Inquisitor who conducts investigations and fights those who have turned to the side of Chaos. The cosplay of Jae Heydari from Rogue Trader was made by Valery Himera.

Jill Valentine from the Resident Evil 3 Remake by Lizzie Whistle
The success of the Resident Evil 2 remake kicked off a trend for high-quality remakes of classic horror games. That said, Capcom itself doesn't always please its fans. For example, the new version of the series' third installment disappointed many. Several levels from the original didn't make it into the remake, which made it feel far too short. Fortunately, the developers took players' feedback into account and haven't repeated such mistakes since. Jill Valentine was brought to life by Lizzie Whistle. Spider-Gwen from Marvel Comics by Asami Gate
Alternate versions of famous comic book characters usually remain little known to a wide audience. But Spider-Gwen is an exception to that rule. Her popularity was boosted by two animated films — Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. The story will conclude in the third animated film, though we'll have to wait until summer 2027 for it. Spider-Gwen will also appear in the Spider-Women spin-off. Her cosplay was made by Asami Gate.

Bela Dimitrescu from Resident Evil Village by Hologana
Not every mainline Resident Evil game was a breakthrough for the genre. Some simply built on the concept of the previous entry. For example, Village was based on the mechanics of Resident Evil 7 but turned out to be more complex and varied. Many remember it for its charismatic bosses with their own backstories. On top of that, you had to adapt to the conditions of each fight. For instance, to defeat Lady Dimitrescu's "daughters", you had to expose them to cold air. Only then did the girls become vulnerable to gunfire. The blonde Bela was brought to life by Hologana. It's worth noting that Village isn't particularly scary. Catwoman from Batman Returns by Ksana Syn
Movies and TV shows about Batman have been coming out since 1943. Across different adaptations, his story has been told as a drama, a thriller, a detective story, and even a comedy. For example, Tim Burton portrayed the Dark Knight's clash with the Joker and the Penguin as a dark modern fairy tale with room for both cruelty and humor. In his film Batman Returns, we saw a seductive Catwoman played by Michelle Pfeiffer. Her cosplay was made by Ksana Syn.

Black Widow from Marvel Rivals by KamikoZero
Despite the success of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, its characters haven't caught on in cosplay. These days, cosplayers who turn to comic book heroines more often pick the beauties from Marvel Rivals.
