WickedWhims is a massive and highly detailed gameplay modification for The Sims 4 that completely overhauls romantic, social, and intimate relationships between Sims. The mod introduces realistic anatomy, detailed animations, a fully realized attractiveness system, a complex menstrual cycle, and numerous new mechanics that make Sims' lives significantly more mature and unpredictable.
Relationships and Intimate Life:
- Animation Mode: The ability to trigger joint scenes for Sims on any surface—from beds and couches to the floor. Creating lists of favorite animations is supported.
- Autonomy: Sims can take the initiative on their own, based on their traits, relationship levels, mood, and surroundings. Lot traits (e.g., "Hypersexual") and special signs from Build Mode allow for flexible behavior customization for specific rooms or lots.
- Interactions and Reactions: The success of actions depends on various factors: hygiene, skills, traits, mutual attraction, and current mood. There are 16 unique types of reactions to ongoing events and 6 types of jealousy expression.
Naturism, Nudity, and Exhibitionism:
- Realistic Nudity: Fully customizable and detailed bodies for all genders, including dynamic body hair growth.
- Naturism Skill: Sims can develop a philosophy of naturalness, learning to feel comfortable and happy without clothes around others, as well as gaining a hygiene bonus when doing chores naked.
- Exhibitionism Skill: Unlocks special mischievous actions, the ability to go streaking, or relieve oneself anywhere.
Physiology and Health:
- Menstrual Cycle: A complete simulation of the female cycle with changing fertility levels (conception capability), periods, and the need to purchase hygiene products (tampons and pads).
- Contraception and Planning: The ability to use protection (condoms and birth control pills) or access medical services to terminate or, conversely, stimulate pregnancy.
- Diseases: Features mechanics for transmission, spreading, and treating intimate infections (STDs).
Business Management and Environment:
- Own a Strip Club: A brand-new, fully playable business type. The player can design the building, hire staff, assign duties, and manage their own adult entertainment establishment.
- Window Peeping: The appearance of special voyeur NPCs in the world who might peep through your Sims' windows. Player Sims can also spy on neighbors, take photos, and sell them online.
- Attractiveness System: Every Sim in the world gets individual preferences for clothing, hair color, and style, which directly affects their attraction to others.
Installation Instructions:
For the modification to work correctly, script files must be placed in the proper directory.
- Go to your game save data folder following this path: Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods
- Extract the downloaded archive and move the entire WickedWhimsMod folder into the Mods directory.
- Make sure that the .package and .ts4script files are inside the WickedWhimsMod folder and are not nested too deeply (no more than one subfolder deep from the Mods folder).
- Launch the game, go to Game Options — Other, and make sure to check the boxes next to "Enable Custom Content and Mods" and "Script Mods Allowed".
