Despite the fact that basically all games in a fantasy setting are role-playing, there are many exceptions that prove that strategy, action and even shooters can exist in the fantasy style. All of them talk about fictional worlds with elves, gnomes and orcs (as well as other races), magic, powerful creatures, unprecedented technologies and great states.
Many fantasy games are still classics, regardless of their genre (be it Warcraft 3 or Arcanum), however, even in our time there are really good representatives of this type.
