Cyberpunk
Cyberpunk is a gaming setting characterized by dystopian themes. Most often, cyberpunk refers to worlds where there has been a significant leap in the development of science and technology, against which society has declined and radical changes in social policy have occurred. For example, people can improve their bodies or heal themselves with the help of mechanical and cybernetic implants, but the state establishes a strict totalitarian regime, while on the streets of the future city, hundreds of drug addicts and murderers roam. The main character in cyberpunk is an alienated loner, and the plot revolves around the struggle of hackers against artificial intelligence or megacorporations.
