Red Dead Redemption 2 is one of those games that impresses with its sheer level of detail. The world is incredibly well-crafted, the characters have a lot of personality, and Arthur Morgan's story is one of the strongest aspects of the experience. One of its problems is its pacing. The game takes a very long time to tell its story, and especially during the first few hours, it can feel slow. Many animations are also deliberately slow, from picking up objects to looting enemies, which can be frustrating for those who prefer faster gameplay. I know many people who quit playing it because of this, but it's a game that's well worth playing.
