Throughout the playthrough, you will build relationships with various factions, have romances, and either execute or spare many characters. However, these local stories will not affect the game's ending. It depends only on a few critical actions of your hero.
How to get a good ending in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
The main character will stay alive if he does not inform Bergov that young Semin is connected with the rebels in the quests Back in the Saddle and Necessary Evil. This way, you will save the villagers. There is also a second option: even if you blabbed, a little later there will be an opportunity to kill the manager Gashek and his people to help Semin in his fortress. In this case, you need to hide your involvement in the massacre in the settlement from Pan Bergov.
In the ending, you will meet your parents. They will summarize your journey, analyzing all the decisions made during the playthrough. Below we have analyzed all the key choices.
Should you save Semin's village
- If you side with Gashek, you will burn both the village of Semin and the manor.
- If you kill Gashek, you can save the village. However, the manor will have to be destroyed to hide Otto von Bergov's betrayal.
For the best outcome, choose the second option.
Should you protect the village of Maleshov
- If you do not prevent the burning of this village, you will have fewer opponents during the castle siege.
- If you oppose the village's devastation, you will have to duel with Dry Devil. After winning, he will agree with your arguments and leave the settlement alone.
The optimal decision is to duel with the Devil. This will not even affect your relationship with him. The only downside is that you will have to kill more soldiers during the siege.
Should you kill Brabant
First, you must defeat Brabant in a duel anyway. Then the choice will open:
- Execute Brabant. After his death, a conversation with Samuel will begin.
- Spare Brabant. The man will soon call for help and warn allies that you are there. If desired, you can kill him, but it will not affect anything anymore.
For a good ending, it's better to spare Brabant's life.
Should you kill von Aulitz
The story of von Aulitz provides four outcomes:
- Do not search for the knight. If you immediately go to the horses, your opponent will remain alive.
- Spare von Aulitz. After talking to the enemy, leave him and calmly walk away. He will die, but not by your hand.
- Dishonorably kill the knight. Death from a knife in his own chair is considered humiliating for a noble warrior.
- End von Aulitz's life with honor. The fighter will accept the end of his journey standing and spend his last moments peacefully with you.
For the best ending, it's worth avoiding killing the knight. You might not even engage in searching for him. If you're interested in his fate, make a backup save, go through all the dialogues, and then load the save.
Should you help Samuel
- If you put him on a horse, you will spend more time. And if Brabant is still alive and warned the guards, you will also have to fend them off. Meanwhile, in this scenario, you will save Samuel's life.
- If you go alone and leave the guy behind, he will be captured by the enemies and hanged.
This choice will not affect the main character's honor, so Samuel's fate remains solely on your conscience.
Will theft affect the ending of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
Yes. Thefts will affect the honor points, which will be taken into account at the end of the game. The more you stole, killed, and engaged in other villainies, the fewer honor points the main character will have.
What does the parents' reaction depend on at the end of the game
During the summary, noble and dishonorable deeds will be considered. You don't need to always act mercifully, avoid bloodshed, and theft. It's important that there are more good decisions.
- If you kept a kind heart, your parents will be delighted with what kind of person Henry has become.
- If you turned out to be a criminal, your mother will say that you are no better than those you tried to take revenge on. Overall, she will remain disappointed with the main character.
How to get a bad ending in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
The main character Henry can be executed for the crimes he committed during the game. If you want to get such an ending, perform the following actions:
- Tell Otto that the villagers are connected with bandits during the Necessary Evil mission. This way, you will convince the commanders to start the assault on the Semin settlement.
- During the battle for the village, go against Bergov and kill his men.
- In the next dialogue with Pan Bergov, the question will arise about who attacked the soldiers. Confess that you killed the burgrave.
As a result, the main character will first be imprisoned and then hanged along with Jan.
