Strategy
In strategy games, success depends on proper planning and tactical thinking. Typically, a player somehow acquires a resource (or several) that must be used to create an army, defend, and develop them. The player is tasked with defeating the opponent's army or destroying their base. Strategies can be turn-based or real-time. There is also a subtype of strategies called "wargames," where the economic aspect is absent. The player immediately receives an army and must skillfully manage it.
