Visual novel
The genre of "visual novel" includes projects where the focus is on the narrative, presented in the form of dialogues, diary entries, or letters. The storytelling rarely stops: it continues even during gameplay or occasionally takes brief pauses. Gameplay in such games may be completely absent.
