This is a mod that allows Arthur or John to clean themselves in shallow water while exploring the world. Rivers, lakes, streams, ponds, and other shallow bodies of water can be used to wash away dirt, blood, mud, and grime at any time, without relying on hotel baths.
For balance, after washing the character receives a stamina boost, which has a 6 in-game hour cooldown. The cooldown applies only to the stamina bonus, not to the washing itself. Visual cleaning is always available. The cooldown for the bonus can be configured in the ini file.
You can also lower the maximum water depth allowed for the washing scenario (it is recommended to leave it at 1).
Controls:
- Controller: Y / Triangle;
- Keyboard: E.
Features:
- Immersive washing in shallow water;
- Wash off blood and dirt at any time;
- Gradual visual cleaning (dirt/blood clears progressively, including from different body parts);
- Smart detection for horses and vehicles in water;
- Works for both Arthur and John;
- Optional stamina boost with a 6 in-game hour cooldown;
- Cooldown values are configurable via the ini file;
- Optional max water depth setting (recommended value: 1).
How to install:
Place the following files into your main Red Dead Redemption 2 game directory:
- washyourself.asi;
- washyourself.dat;
- washyourself.ini.
