The Outer Worlds 2

I've finally completed Autistic World 2, and considering I didn't know any details about the plot or anything else beforehand, and played under the impression of the first game, I can say that the sequel is overall a success. Although there were some things I didn't like about the game.

But let's start with the good stuff. The overall plot is pretty good. I can't say whether it's better or worse than the first game, it's just different, quite large-scale, serious, revealing interesting details of the lore, and definitely laying the groundwork for future installments, which will obviously never happen thanks to the idiots at Microsoft.

I liked the first Outer Worlds, and the second didn't disappoint!

A good, unconventional plot with lots of subplots.

Gets addictive over time. I'm not a fan of the realistic difficulty; I prefer to follow the story.

This one really made me want to play through each character!

The Outer Worlds 2 для меня стало разочарованием. От Obsidian ожидал гораздо большего — особенно после их прошлых RPG, где сильной стороной были персонажи, диалоги и свобода выбора.

В итоге игра не смогла зацепить так, как хотелось. Потенциал был большой, но ощущения той самой магии Obsidian, которую ждёшь от их проектов, мне не хватило.

The game is simpler than its predecessor. It's also no longer possible to upgrade weapons directly without modifications. But all in all, it's quite straightforward, with plenty of options.

I highly recommend it.

Obsidian's cultists still swear by their pathetic, buggy, and utterly dead New Vegas, but their new creation clearly proves that the studio never knew how to make decent games. It's a refined distillation of their signature creative impotence, only now wrapped in the plastic Unreal Engine 5. The RPG system here is made for masochists: with a paltry 30-level cap, you're given a pittance of upgrade points, forcing you to build a narrow-minded invalid who can't even break down a door, while your dimwitted teammates mindlessly die in the first seconds of any battle because they can't even change their equipment.
