Bison of Skyrim - (Animal Series Pt.4) SE.
Bison are a large species of cattle and one of the largest land animals found in Skyrim, along with mammoths. They are wide and muscular, with a large hump and shaggy long hair. Bison roam in pastures and move in herds, the average herd size ranges from 8 to 12 bison, larger species often move in small herds. Bison tend to keep to themselves unless they sense a threat, such as a predator walking near their herd, when this happens the entire herd attacks the enemy to protect the calves. There are also Snakes that live in the forests of Skyrim, as they are forest dwellers.
There are different options:
Bison Latifrons are the largest of the bison species, found on the tundra plains, they live in small herds.
The steppe bison is another large species of bison that lives in the tundra plains.
Plains Bison are the most common bison species and are found in the tundra plains and Eastmarch.
a large subspecies of the steppe bison, adapted to life in snowy forests and some frozen wastelands.
Bison are another common type of bison, they are lighter than plains bison but taller. They live in forests not covered with snow, such as the Rift and Falkreath.
