Tactics
Role-playing games and strategies in the genres labeled "Tactics" have a unique combat system where victory depends on a large number of parameters. Among them are not only the parameters of the units themselves but also their positioning, actions, timing of the attack, and much more. Tactical games are often built on a turn-based type of combat (tactical turn-based), but there are also real-time tactics (real-time tactics, RTT). Very rarely are tactical elements applied in other genres; for example, in shooters, tactical capabilities in such games are limited.
