In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, side quests are not only filled with interesting events but can also have continuations. This quest is a continuation of the Bellatores mission in the Kuttenberg region, where you helped the knight Jan Myatlik from Zimburk save his brother Miroslav.
After completing the Bellatores quest, when you freed Miroslav from the Cumans, you need to wait about three days. Return to the ruins of the Zimburk castle, and you will find a knight's camp instead of the Cuman's bivouac. Find Jan Myatlik at the tiltyard and talk to him about the Cumans. He will inform you that he found their camp, and if you agree to help, you will be transported to the outskirts of the horde with the knight brothers. Prepare your equipment before starting the quest, as you will face a difficult combat challenge.
Talk to the brothers about the strategy and choose: attack immediately or try to eliminate the enemies quietly. In any case, you will be fighting, so prepare well for the battle.
If you decide to attack head-on, stay close to your companions, try to maintain formation, and don't let the enemies get behind you. The terrain is open, so keep a close eye on the situation — the battle will be tough. All the Cumans are armed with shields and swords, which they wield very well, especially their leader Sharkan.
If you decide to act stealthily, first eliminate the perimeter guards so that there are fewer enemies inside the camp. Try to kill at least one of them from behind in front of the others, then run into the tent and take out the enemies one by one. By this time, the knight brothers will come to your aid.
After you eliminate the Cumans, talk to Jan, and he will ask you to find a chest with the family relic.
Take the key to Sharkan's chest from the fallen Cuman leader's corpse. In the camp, find the red tent, enter it, and look to the right — there is the chest. Open it and take the Zimburk Reliquary.
Returning the reliquary to Myatlik, you will learn why it was so important to retrieve it. The young knights aimed to prove that they are worthy heirs of the Segraice castle. They decided to transfer their father's remains from the Sedlec Monastery to the castle in Moravia, but on the way, their retinue was attacked by the Cumans. The brothers will remain in the ruins of Zimburk. A bed and a tiltyard are available for you in the camp, where you can hone your combat skills with Myatlik. The knight can also teach you fencing techniques.
