In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, the final stage of your assistance to the miners will occur in the Popinjay Shoot quest. In Kutná Hora, you will receive an unexpected proposal from the miner foreman Vlah, which will test your skills and determination. Successfully completing the task will not only bring unique rewards but will also strengthen your reputation among the miners who have entrusted you with their honor.
The quest will start automatically after completing the Striped Tonies mission. Head to the city of Kutná Hora in the Kuttenberg region at 07:00 AM and find the miner foreman Vlah at the city shooting range.
Tell him you came to watch the tournament. In response, the master miner will inform you that their representative cannot participate and will offer you to take his place. If you refuse, the quest will fail, and the miners will stop talking to you.
You will compete against two shooters, where the task is to shoot down bird dummies. Your goal is to hit more targets than your opponents. Be sure to save before starting the quest and memorize the target locations. To hit, calculate the bolt's flight trajectory and aim slightly below the target. Even with low shooting skills, you have a chance to win.
Even if you lose, the quest will be considered completed: Vlah will thank you for your efforts and give you a small consolation prize. However, victory will bring you not only universal recognition, honor, and respect but also a substantial reward, a unique miner's crossbow, and the King of Birds badge.
Additionally, the Foreman will offer you an extra sum of coins. You can show nobility and refuse the money in favor of improving your reputation. For this, you will be rewarded with a unique miner's hat, as well as increased skill points in accuracy and agility.
