PS4 — the fourth gaming console from Sony. It went on sale in Russia on November 28, 2013. It runs on the Orbis operating system, which is a modified version of FreeBSD 9.0. The console is equipped with an 8-core processor and a graphics card from AMD. The RAM is 8 GB. The new DualShock 4 controller boasts a gyroscope, accelerometer, touchpad, and lighting. The portable console PS Vita can also be used as a controller. PS Now (formerly Gaikai) operates on PS4, which can provide backward compatibility with games for PS3, PS2, and PS1. The console is not equipped with any system to protect against used games.
