First-person view
First-person view is a way of viewing in video games where the gameplay occurs from the first-person perspective, that is, "from the eyes" of the character. The player identifies more strongly with the main character, unlike other types of views. Most often, first-person view is used in shooters, less frequently in other genres – adventures, arcades, puzzles, horror games, and others. Sometimes in such games, you can switch to third-person mode (for a short time or until the next switch). Also, often you can see your character in reflections (mirrors, glass, and water bodies).
