Save the innkeeper's farm from ruin is one of the requests that players may encounter in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. In this guide, you will find a detailed description of each step of the quest to easily handle the task.

How to Start the Something Rotten Quest

You can complete this quest after completing the The Magic Arrow quest. In Kuttenberg, in the village of Grunta, ask how the innkeeper is doing. Grosh will tell you that bandits are ruining the farm. Agree to eliminate the bandit leader, and the quest will begin. The man will tell you how to find the camp north of the village and give you the poison "Bane."

Kill Eggman

Go to the former camp of Karel and Goryun. There are seven well-armed bandits in armor at the post.

There are several ways to solve the problem:

  • Defeat the bandits in open combat. Keep in mind that the area is open, and the fight will be tough.
  • Kill the bandits at night. First, take out the patrols, then the sleeping ones. Even if they wake up, they won't have time to arm themselves properly.
  • Stealthily kill only Sbeisnog.

Find Evidence that Eggman is Dead

Take the item "Eggman's Hat" from the bandit leader's body.

Give the hat to the innkeeper and receive a reward of one and a half hundred groschen.
